Kl Rapid

Linda asks…

How could I get to Selangor from Kualalumpur and vice versa?

KL Boy’s answers:

Which part of Selangor? Selangor is pretty large. You can take the bus or trains to get there if you are on a budget. If you are using a taxi, suggest using meter as taxi drivers tend to charge.

Rapid KL (buses and LRT’s) http://www.rapidkl.com.my/
KTM (Commuter service) http://www.ktmb.com.my/

Nancy asks…

How to go to IOI Business Park, Persiaran Puchong Jaya Selatan, Bandar Puchong Jaya, From KL central?

Please don’t tell me that use TAXI
Zeeda, I am going to use LRT. Can you give me more detail?

KL Boy’s answers:

You still have to use taxi later, unless if you want to take bus from KL sentral.

From KL sentral, you have to go behind the building, right where the Monorel Station located at.
There will be a lot of buses going to Puchong Perdana/ Putra Perdana/ Bandar Bukit Puteri etc.

These buses will go to Puchong using old klang road freeway.
Preferably, you stop at infront of IOI Mall Puchong, then take a cab.
This will safe a lot of your time, unless if you have a ride on bus heading to Bandar Bukit Puteri,
you only stop infront of Giant Puchong where you finally arrive at Bandar Puchong Jaya.

EDIT: Putra LRT?

1-Take Putra LRT to Masjid Jamek,
then hop in to Star LRT heading Bukit Jalil.
Rapid KL will go to Cyberjaya via this station, via Puchong, but you have to get down from the bus at IOI Mall, and then take a cab.
Too much hassle.

Preferably just get a cab from Bt. Jalil LRT to Puchong,
Will cost you around RM6-8/
(more tiring, more time consuming) (about 2-3 hours)

2-Or, take Putra LRT to Kelana Jaya station,
take a cab, will cost you around RM12 above, depending on the traffic at Sunway LDP.
(less tiring, but time consume depends on traffic)(about 1-2 hours)
(Rapid KL going to Cyberjaya via Puchong is also available, but as what I said earlier, need to take a cab later infront IOI Mall)

3-Take KL Sentral ERL to Putrajaya,
later, get a cab, will cost you around RM10 or below.
(most convenient, less traffic, will take about 1/2-1 hour from KL Sentral to Puchong)

Paul asks…

How to get to the National Library by train, from Serdang komuter station?

KL Boy’s answers:

Unfortunately there’s no train station within convenient walking distance from National Library… The best option is to stop at bank negara komuter station, cross the bridge to get to bandaraya LRT station & buy ticket to Titiwangsa.

At titiwangsa station u can either take a cab or Rapid KL bus B114 (heading to Maluri thru KLCC) and get off at the bus stop right in front of Pusrawi (RM1) which is next to the library. If u wanto to take cab, u don’t have to cross the road from titiwangsa station. If you want to take rapidkl bus, cross the road to the titiwangsa bus station.. Spot the place where RapidKL park their buses and ask the RapidKL staff there where to wait for B114 (it takes passengers at different part of the bus stop).

If you want to take monorail instead, stop at komuter KL sentral, cross the road to the monorail station and stop at titiwangsa station. Everything else the same.

Donna asks…

Hi, I would like to know how to go KPMG building near PJ 1 Utama?

I would like to take the public transport. What is the best way? Can i get bus from Kelana Jaya LRT station?

KL Boy’s answers:

Walk there from 1-Utama. Oh wait, you did not say you were there. Not did you say where you are going from. So how to answer you?

As for a generic description, it’s next to LDP, so take LDP towards Kepong until you see TV3. It’s kind of beside TV3.

EDIT: If taking bus from KL Sentral, take the Rapid KL Bus No. U82. If coming from Putrajaya Sentral, take Bus No. T43. 1 Utama is also connected via buses No. U86 and U89.

There is no direct bus from Kelana Jaya LRT.
