Kl Lrt

James asks…

what is the LRT station for Pekeliling bus station, Kuala Lumpur ? and how to go there from KL sental?

KL Boy’s answers:

Titiwangsa station. The easiest way is to go there is by using the MONORAIL directly to Titiwangsa station. It’ll cost u RM2.50 only.
Then u can change to LRT. Just go down the stairs. Cross Jln Tun Razak using the pedestrian flyover.
It is much more easier rather than taking the public transportation.
In KL there are a lot of traffic jammed
if u use the taxi the fare sure make u “blood go upstairs”.
If u are going to use the bus u have to wait… And wait…and wait…
Then the bus will get so congested…
One more way… Call somebody la to send u… Boyfriend ke… Saudara mara ke… Adik beradik ke…
It’s up to u now…

Ps: best answer pls…hehehe (=^_^=)

Helen asks…

Are there a lot of Indian Vegetarian eateries in Brickfields, KL?

I’ve heard of a few expensive restaurants like Analakshmi etc. I’m not into that. I’ve been to ABC in India Street. It was okay, but I don’t quite like the area.

What good Indian Vegetarian eateries/coffee shops/restaurants that are clean and reasonably priced can you recommend for me?

Are there any within short walking distance from LRT / monorail / KL sentral for instance?

Thanks a lot!

KL Boy’s answers:

Yes. Brickfields is ‘little India’ here and you can find a lot of vegetarian food too. I prefer the food at Lotus Restaurant. They have lots of choices and the place is clean. I normally go the their branch in Lebuh Ampang. You can reach there via LRT. Friedchillies.com has good recommendation too. Check it out.

Lisa asks…

how to get to lrt and monorail station in kl central?

i m afraid i’ll get lost there!!!

KL Boy’s answers:

Where are you coming from? Most of the U (Utama) buses which go to Pasar Seni/Pasaramakota go through KL Sentral (U60, U69, U70, U73, U80, U84, U85 and many more which I don’t know about). Look up www.rapidkl.com.my for details (although don’t expect good service from the RapidKL buses, they are a total joke).

The monorail station is not part of the main station – you’ll need to go out on to Jalan Tun Sambanthan in order to get there. It’s next to a mamak (Indian Muslim) restaurant and there is a KK Supermarket and a 7-Eleven nearby.

The Putra LRT station is in the main station, just look for signs which say “Kelana Jaya Line”. It is between the KTM area and the ext to Jalan Tun Sambanthan.
