Bukit Bintang Bus

Donald asks…

Where are the nearest malls in Bukit Bintang where I can find the Vincci (VNC) shoe store?

Hopefully, it would just be walking distance or a short bus trip.

KL Boy’s answers:

If you get off the Mono Rail Bukit Bintang Station , its right there at the Sungei Wang Mall . Vincci is at the first floor , just enter the gate on the Mono rail side and walk straight inside Sungei Wang at the farther end is Vincci Shoes.

James asks…

Travel duration from KLIA to Bukit Bintang to Lorong Damai to KLIA?

i have an appointment to the Polish Embassy in Lorong Damai, Kuala Lumpur this month. I’ve heard that there are lots of affordable inns and hotel in Bukit Bintang. How far is Bukit Bintang to Lorong Damai? If I take a bus going to Lorong Damai, would I encounter heavy traffic? What is the travel duration? And from Lorong Damai to KL International Airport, how many hours would it take by public transportation? Please give me an idea. thanks in advance!

KL Boy’s answers:

Hi there,
From KLIA it takes 35 mins by the express train to Sentral Train station, ticket cost at RM 35. From here you change to the monorail on level one to Bukit Bintang. Not that far. Then from Bukit Bintang
grab a cab to Lorong Damai . It should not take you more than 20mins depending on traffic it’s actually pretty near. Do remember that taxis are difficult to get between 2.30-3.15 pm due to change of shift. Public Buses are not reliable and you might have to walk quite far from the bus stop to the Embassy.

Chris asks…

Pasarakyat Bus Terminal?

May I know where is Pasarakyat Bus Terminal? How far is it from Bukit Bintang and also from KLCC? What is the most convenient way to get to Bukit Bintang and also KLCC? Is it walking distance from Bukit Bintang?

KL Boy’s answers:

Pasarakyat Bus terminal is in J. Pudu, Kuala Lumpur which is quite near to Bukit Bintang already. Suggest that you can take a bus or a taxi. But beware that you are not being ‘ripped off’ by the taxi drivers.

After touring Bkt Bintang, you can take any bus to go to KLCC. Alternatively, you will have to board the monorail from Berjaya Times Square and drop off at the Bkt Nanas station. From there, you may walk to KLCC which is about 10-15 minutes walk. You can’t miss the Twin Tower. Or after unboarding from the monorail at Bkt Nanas station, you could also walk across to the Dang Wangi Putraline LRT station and drop off at KLCC station.
